Ashton Kutcher cast to play Steve Jobs in movie

Less than six months after the death of Apple CEO Steve Jobs and one New York Times bestseller about the exec later, two movies are in the works to chronicle his life. One of these movies will star Two and a Half Men star Ashton Kutcher and will be directed by Joshua Michael Stern of Swing Vote fame.

The biopic will follow Jobs’ journey from being a ‘wayward hippie’ to co-founder of Apple to the most revered technology executive in history from a creativity perspective. The film is set to start production in May when Kutcher is on hiatus from filming CBS’ Two and a Half Men.

Sony Pictures is currently developing its own Steve Jobs pic, based on the bestselling book by Walter Isaacson.
