I’m going to Haiti, but I need your help

Well, loyal readers, your trusty editor is heading to Haiti next month.

At the end of August/beginning of September, I will be spending a little over a week volunteering with a telemedicine clinic in L’Estere, Haiti, with LifePaths Global Alliance, the registered charity that runs the clinic in the remote Haitian community.

The LifePaths clinic was instrumental in providing treatment to Haitians during the country’s Cholera outbreak in 2010 and offers free consultations and prescriptions to 150 patients per week on an ongoing basis.

For the founders of the clinic, what started out as a two week mission ended up being a full-time responsibility, and to have the opportunity to see this region first hand and volunteer my efforts (with, of course, a full report upon return) is a great one.

However, in embarking on such an endeavor, there are obviously costs. It’s up to me to make my own way there, and between flight, accommodations, and ground transport, that’s not cheap.

Any contribution, big or small, is appreciated. Donations can be taken via PayPal at the bottom of this article. Individuals (or individuals representing companies) donating over $100 will receive special thanks in Landmark Report coverage of the trip. Please email me if you are interested in co-sponsoring the trip by donating a higher amount.

Thank you for your support!
