Just two days after it was announced that former Vice President Dick Cheney canceled an April speaking engagement in Toronto, Canada, organizers working with Spectre Live, the promotion company for the event, have reportedly received death threats and harassing phone calls at the company’s Toronto office. In light of the cancellation, Mark Steyn will be taking to the stage to give a performance that he guarantees will be more than “a guy giving a speech.”
An email from a fan directed to Spectre Live president Ryan Ruppert was published on SteynOnline.com

Ruppert didn’t confirm how many emails had been received, but noted that all threatening correspondence had been forwarded to the police.
“Steynamite” with bestselling author Mark Steyn, joined by special guest Michael Coren will be taking place in Toronto on April 24th.
