Yesterday, I appeared on BBC World’s World Have Your Say broadcast alongside a panel of guests from around the world to discuss the Trayvon Martin phenomenon. The show was broadcast live on the BBC World Network.
From the moment I was introduced, I had to correct misinformation from the show’s host regarding the reality of the case. Unfortunately, lies and misinformation have outnumbered actual facts in the coverage of this case. Unlike most of the mainstream media, I’m prepared to admit that we don’t have all of the facts in this case, so jumping to conclusions is rather useless.
